If you’re looking for a budget hostel on Koh Samet The Cocoon can’t be beat! 5 minute walk from the pier and right next to a motorbike rental if you need one. Big, clean and comfy beds, plenty of bathrooms and showers. Free coffee and water, and stuff for a small breakfast. Cool lounge area with bean bags, books, tv, and even a ukulele. They also sell cheap beers and drinks! Best of all was Nick and May! They were incredible hosts who made me feel so welcome and showed me all the best spots on the island! Thank you guys! I’ll miss you!

Amazing hostel right next to the pier! We had the best few days here. Nick has so many recommendations and pointed us to some great places for food. Beds were comfy, clean bathrooms, free breakfast - everything you want from a hostel 👏

Nick and May were great hosts, showing me where to experience life on the island! The Cocoon hostel was a great budget option for my trip and it’s really close to the island’s beaches. It was the perfect place to stay to enjoy the island.

This hostel was perfect for me and my group of friends. We were well looked after and the rooms were spotless. Hostel staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the Island. Will be back next holiday .

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and the owner is friendly. Very cute, clean bathroom, very impressive, close to the beach. There are shops nearby, very convenient. Next opportunity, definitely come to stay again.
